Yi-Chin had her industrial design undergraduate education at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan and M.S. in computational design at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, Yi-Chin is a Ph.D. student in architecture, focusing
on computational design and textile fabrication. Her doctoral research aims to reimagine the computational design process as one that invites community engagement. She focused on developing material systems and social participatory design frameworks for building a playful and sensorial environment.
